VAN bakery is a full service, Los Angeles-based catering company serving the New York metropolitan area and beyond. We provide memorable, handcrafted local and seasonal cuisine to complement a wide range of event styles.
We also offer professional staffing, bar service, party rentals, event coordination services, and day-of wedding coordination.

As a chef owned and operated company, food is our focus and our passion. We love what we do and we believe that you can taste that in our cooking. In our kitchen, we craft bold, fresh and flavorful dishes that your guests won’t be able to stop talking about.

We are committed to making our food by hand. That means we make our own pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, jams, relishes and baked goods all from scratch, using techniques nobody’s grandma would be ashamed of. If we can’t make it, we support local artisans that do.

We believe that the most delicious food is also intrinsically good for you. Food made from quality ingredients that feeds your body what it really needs is, in turn, more physically satisfying.

WE REDUCE OUR WASTE.
The cycle of our business goes from the farm to your table and back to the earth as compost. We promise to compost our food scraps in our local community garden whenever possible. We also commit to bringing excess food to our local food pantry.
